The rules for using Nokoku.
These terms cover what Nokoku agrees to do and what we ask of you in return. Read them with the privacy policy for the full picture.
What Nokoku is
Nokoku is a scheduling service: you say what meeting you want, we read your calendar and propose three times, your invitee picks one, we book it. The service is operated from the UK by the Nokoku team.
Your account
You need a valid email address and (for calendar features) a connected Google account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at hello@nokoku.ai if you think it's been compromised.
What we ask you not to do
We're happy to host almost any kind of meeting, but we ask you not to use Nokoku to:
- Send unsolicited bulk invitations (spam).
- Schedule meetings for illegal activity, harassment, or anything that violates the recipient's consent.
- Reverse-engineer the service, scrape data systematically, or use the API to circumvent normal rate limits.
- Impersonate other people or businesses.
- Distribute malware or run security exploits through meeting links / descriptions.
We can suspend or close an account that violates the above, at our discretion. We'll explain why when we do.
Your content
Meeting titles, descriptions, notes, rules — anything you create is yours. We store it so the service works and we make it available back to you and to the recipients you share with. We don't use your content for anything else (see privacy).
Third-party services
Nokoku relies on Google (calendar + contacts + maps + meet), Clerk (auth), Anthropic (AI), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting + analytics), and Neon (database). Their availability, rate limits, and terms are out of our control — when a third party goes down, features depending on it go down too. We'll communicate via the app and status page when we can.
Beta and pricing
Nokoku is in beta. While in beta, the service is free and we may release breaking changes, change features, or pause the service without notice. We'll tell you before introducing paid tiers; nothing you currently use will quietly start charging.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no specific guarantee during beta. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind beyond what UK consumer law requires us to provide. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using or being unable to use the service (e.g. a meeting that didn't happen, a missed opportunity) beyond what UK consumer law mandates.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@nokoku.ai. We remove your profile, rules, tokens, and share rows within 30 days. Calendar events you've already booked stay on Google Calendar — they're your data, not ours.
We may close an account that's in clear violation of these terms (see “What we ask you not to do”). We'll email you when we do and you'll have a chance to export anything you need.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page when the product or our obligations change. Material changes (anything that shrinks your rights or expands ours) will be flagged via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes that we can't resolve over email go to the courts of England and Wales.
